Mendy Nielsen is one of Utah’s go-to hair stylists with 20+ years of experience from Northern to Southern Utah, and her blonding techniques are the stuff of a legend. A Master Hair Colorist and Stylist, she also specializes in modern cuts, color corrections, and extensions. She started doing hair extensions in the early 2000’s and has experience with all types of hair and products. While staying updated on hairstyling trends, her love of learning and continuing education led her to certify with IBE® in 2022. As a farmer’s daughter, from small town Panguitch, Utah, she wanted to work in hairstyling from a very young age. Mendy would cut and style her mom, sister’s, and friend’s hair, before going to study at a St. George hairdressing academy right out of high school. When Mendy isn’t working her magic in the salon, you can find her traveling the world, or in a basketball gym, on the field, or cheer competitions with her three kids and husband.
